We all had our own stories from past. Mostly they wreck our present self and hold a strong grip of the last piece to stay with us. These stories might be good, but they are not. Here in this novella we can see an author, Ronit Shukdev as our protagonist in such a miserable state who was once used to be a funny, adorable and a great storyteller.

On the other side, the reason for his wreckedness (as he says), Nitasha, an artist who wants to be a great artist with a passionate life. Both once had a wonderful togetherness and also ended up with unrepairable separation.

So how are they leading their present self? Are they themselves made their compromise with their current respective life? Or else like always do they need that “someone” to come and do their magical spell on them?
These are the answers that you will find them in this story. One among these four is Ratna Kumari Jamwal, a student of English Literature whose poetry becomes an introduction of this story itself. I was so stunned when I read the pondering questions of four year old little Ratna about this societal norms for how a girl should be (such a matured girl, though).

I had come across many attacks by the characters about the society and the lives with “replacement” instead of “repair”, something that we are doing in our life. This is a short read which is a fast paced one and can be easily finished it with your one sitting reading time. However recently I am exploring such kind of reads, this one comes in handy. The story itself has hardly four main characters as well as few other characters too.

Those are some real life attacks as well and are more in it. (Ouch!) And I had seen some Literature related stuffs that I had studied which eventually came to know that the author himself is a Literature student (Nice to meet you, Sir!).

On the whole, the language and writing style is simple and lucid one whereas a beginner friendly too. But I had some confusions in some places, (may be, I missed to get the narrative tone of the characters and their juggling presence in the chapters.) I would recommend this book your short reading preferences.

Happy reading!
