Mr. Choker falls in love with Ms. Stubborn.
The story begins with Anaya’s phone call to Ayan to inform him about their breakup. But she feels something odd from Ayan’s tensed way of repeating the same thing again and again. With the presence of her father, she cannot take much time. But Ayan’s troubled voice makes her uncomfortable. She is in dilemma between Ayan and her father. And the story starts from there with complete page-turning scenes.
The author has given the love story in a pleasant way where the love for family is also equally balanced. On one hand, being the shy boy, Ayan creates a beautiful bond with Anaya, his love and care for Anaya and his genuineness to not let anyone hurt by his manners made him a pure soul. The author has shown the beautiful bond between him and his mother who always stands behind him in his hard times.
On the other, Anaya is the daughter of a multi-millionaire of the town who loves her father more than anyone. In the life of Anaya, she has her little sister who supports her like anything. Having both these respective supporting characters in the life of both Ayan and Anaya, they have withstood in their hard times. At last, everyone needs someone to support them like anything.
The shifts of events are intriguing with the plot. I love the way of presenting the pure love between Ayan and Anaya without any exaggeration of events. The novel takes away the plot with the natural flow. Even though the characters of the novel are less in number, they have their unique way of presenting themselves without making any hassles. The language is lucid and beginner-friendly. Making separate chapters for both central characters helps to understand more about them. Other than some typing errors which can be possibly avoided, I enjoyed this read.
I would like to recommend this book for romance fiction readers.
Quotes:
“This was really a cute and silent gesture. I was amazed at how unpredictable he was. He became a mystery to me and I wanted to find out more about him.” p.24
I always believed that trust should be the foundation of every relationship. If there’s trust, there’s no need for restrictions, you would yourself have the confidence in your partner that they would do you no wrong. p.134
