The collection comprises of 11 unique stories which created the whole place of Faujpur, author’s imaginary place. The each stories is narrated with the touches of the emotions of Indian society.
The stories had created a whole Faujpur and was depicted with the places that every city have. The author entitled his each story with the main spot of the place where the story is being occurred.
The author handled different moods for each story which eventually become successful. Each story has its unique theme such as ambition, friendship, love, failure. The readers can easily relate with their life incidents. There is no other exaggeration of events with cinematic posh. This makes the work reader friendly without getting into any overly described scenes. Thus the stories have created the entire imaginary place, Faujpur.
The writing style is simple and lucid. And it will be reading friendly for beginners as well as non-readers. The entire book is mix of varies themes that will keep the attention of the readers. The way, the story is being narrated, is so engaging.
On the whole, I have some favourite stories from this collection (The Railway station, The Bookstore and The Restuarant).
