#qotd Had you ever wondered that the books would create a huge impact in your life?

Well NO! Lemme tell a kutty story about ME & books.
(Don’t run, just a small one, May be not)

I still remember the day when my Appa woke me up to get me signed the form for applying our local library membership. I had started reading books in my early years (probably 6 or 7 years old). My reading was not in the flow as a regular reader.

I was fascinated about Indian Historical books related to God and Goddess which naturally grabbed my attention. And I started to stick to those books. I read all kinds of books like Akbar & Bribal, Thenali Rama, Arabian Nights and few other self-help books (trust me those were one of my favourite reads).

Till my Bachelor Degree, I read books only in Tamil (my mother tongue) that are available in our library. But still I hadn’t enjoy the soulful reading journey. For books, I had to use my village library to read the random books that I get there. I don’t remember what are the exact books, I read then. I only remember few of them.

The time I got my library card is the one of best memories (Like Harry Potter got his Hogwarts letter, I got my ticket towards books. I feel lucky here). Because I was the 7th library member.

I lost the card during the beginning of the pandemic in 2020, when my Appa returned my read books in the library & forgot to pick up the membership card. Bad Luck!

But I got my District Library Membership in 2016 where I rarely visit. (Nothing is equal to the first, may be). Then, in 2017, I started to collect the books for myself from the local second hand bookstore (memories run behind).

There it continues to grow up my habit of collecting books which eventually landed me up towards this amazing Bookstagram at the end of 2020.

Here I am enjoying a lot, having funs with books and book photographs, exploring more ventures through reading and moreover getting numerous like minded friends.

Books are the real love that have been travelling along with me in this wonderful journey. So keep reading, you may never know what books will bring. Happy Reading!
