The novel is beautifully set in England with the realistic two central characters, Louisa Clark (Lou) and Will Traynor. Both have distinctive lifestyles, Lou is a 26 years old young girl who lost her job in a cafe, The Buttered Bun whereas Will is a quadripelgic who met with an accident some three years back. Before the accident, Will was quite a lively person with the most adventurous life and is devastated after ending up living in a wheelchair with few movements in his fingers and head. There, fate strikes by getting Lou into the life of Will as his new carer.

The story revolves with the actual concept of realism. Each scene and character are presented as more lively. The character developments of the novel are so pleasant and travel accordingly. The bond between Lou and Will is not much delivered in the romantic essence but in adorable. As such, the way both are dearly engrossed in each other’s well being and meaning for each other’s life.

Despite of Lou’s clumsy and bubbly personality, Will found the real charm in her Even though Lou works as a caretaker, she just took loads of hardships to keep Will happy.

On other hand, Will slowly changes Lou’s life from the dull and boring way of living to meaningful life. There were other side characters’ point of view also presented. More colours would be added if Will’s point of view had some justifying place among others. He often seems a hideous character with his well-secured secrets.

The language used in the novel is lucid and easy with the flow. The writing style has well played with the empathy of the readers.
