✨Genre : Poetic Essay
✨Pages : 144
✨Publication: Fingerprint Classics

Content 5🌟/5
Cover Design 5🌟/5 (deserves more than I gave)

This book is a collection of 26 poetic essays with a striking realisation of life. The book talks about the ebb and flow of life. The book begins with The Coming of The Ship which gives the background of the scenario and ends with Farewell. Precisely, the book totally contains 28 distinguish chapters.

This work was written in 1923 and still wafting the fresh fragrance of enchanting philosophy. Gibran wrote this work as the wisdom of Al Mustafa, the Prophet who preaches his philosophy to the people of Orphalese before his voyage back to his isle.

From his wisdom, the Prophet beautifully presents the sole reality about the multifacet life of the human in this world. The language is simple and crisp enough to amaze the readers with its musings. The book cover caught me enough with its beautiful hardback with golden sprayed edges.

I felt like nothing in this world whenever I read the lines of Gibran. I was vibing with his words and lines from the minute I started to read. Gibran’s lines will strike you in different ways either in reality or find you were already submerged into it.

I can’t write up anything like a review on this astounding work of Gibran. I read this beautiful book and now I am falling in love with the lines of Gibran as well as the book again and again. I want everyone to read this amazing read and experience his spell. Together we will have this Gibranism.

If you haven’t read any poems, I will recommend this read! Even if you love reading poems, I will urge you to read this one too! Trust me. This book caught me well and woke me to the present!

Some spellbound minutes of mine:

✨When you work you are a flute through whose heart the whispering of the hours turns to music.

✨Your joy is your sorrow unmasked.

✨And the selfsame well from which your laughter rises was oftentimes filled with your tears.

✨And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair.

✨And let today embrace the past with remembrance and the future with longing.

Happy Reading!
