The ‘Unlatched Stories’ is the collection of poetry by Sakshi Dugad. It is her debut poetry collection which expresses her immense love for the nature.
The poems talk about various subjects like the mother nature, the universe, the love and the realisation of the realities in life. While reading the poems, it describes the beauty of nature and it’s wonders which we are failing to admire in our daily hurry burry.
Sakshi’s choice of writing about as poetry boosts the imagery of nature in subtle way. Some are hardly written as a couplets with the intense meaning about the correlation between love and life with the nature.
The subtle way of writing the verse with mere reality brings the proximity big life. The poems were written in blank verse with blunt dictions. The readers can find lot more about aura which creates the happenings around us. Some of the poems give life motivations which the readers finds under the intense and open-minded reading.
Recommended for the use of plain verse in writing style which will be easier for the beginners who want to explore the poetry side in Literature.
Some poetry that I liked most:
Stars aren’t afraid of the mornings
they know if not here
somewhere else they will be again present
for the folks to gaze
you can’t be important to all.– and that’s okay!
Sad & happy are best buddies,
sad craves us to feel the joy of happy
happy teaches us to be grateful to Sad,
for teaching us things only sad could have!
Shells come in different size
yet my eyes never stop staring
and my hands never stops picking
each one is unique
and I love to expand my collection!
you don’t have to be different to be loved-you need to be unapologetically yourself
